NEW
BRUSHES

New
makeup brushes are every makeup artist's dream. These amazing black silk
fiber-optic brushes are mostly used to apply a light hand to loose powder and
shimmers, and are king for mineral makeup applications, but I love using them
in a different way. Try the #18
or #32 as a foundation brush.
Applies foundation very lightly, with an almost airbrushed look. Need to perk
up foundation or makeup at the end of a long day? Mist this brush lightly with
water or toner and lightly buff the skin. You'll find that foundation looks
brand new without having to reapply.
Great for weddings, photo shoots and anywhere foundation and skin need
to look perfect.

NEW
MAKEUP COLORS
Looking
for a new look for fall? Try the new Luscious Lip Balms. With the silkiness of lip balm, but the intensity
of lipstick. The colors have a
great metallic sheen that intensifies the shade and modernizes the look. My
favorite? Shy, a perfect nude
shimmer glow, that's perfect for the intense eye looks we're seeing for fall.
Like a focus on the mouth? Try Cutie Pie, a more pink red shade that looks more retro and modern.

Pass
along this great trick to your makeup clients. Not getting the look you want from
your mascara? Do this secret trick I use for photography. Apply 1 coat each of
2 different mascaras. Say, oneÕs
lengthening and another is waterproof, or thickening. Just one coat each and
youÕll get the perfect lashes you want every time.

Smoke
(charcoal gray)
Cream
liner is great for itÕs staying power and long lasting look. The trick is the right brush. A straight flat edge bristle is the
best. Just hold the edge of the brush right against the lash line and tap along
for a smooth line. DonÕt drag. Little smudges might happen that way. Want to modernize your look a bit? Take
your cream liner and apply first. Let dry and then take your favorite coordinating
eye shadow color and smudge over the liner. YouÕll find that your liner will
last all day and you can get some great color combinations going. My favorite?
Take gold shadow (18 Karat Gold or
Gold Dust) over Absolute Black Cream
Liner. Brilliant blue (try Twilight), is so in this fall. Try the new Bold
Effects (see below) in Reckless & Show Off, which looks perfect smudged over Smoke Cream
Liner, and purples (Boysenberry & Phantom) shadow, THE colors for fall that look great and intense over Absolute
Black Cream Liner.

BOLD EFFECTS

SHADOW
Shown: Top row: Wild Side, Frisky, Sassy, In the
Pink

Bottom row: Show Off, Daring, Reckless, Not So

note: colors may not be exact.
Looking
to liven up your look? Bold Effects
will definitely do the trick. In super bright, rich pigments, they're just the
thing to spark up your creativity.
TOP
ROW: left to right.
Wild
Side: a gorgeous burgundy that looks more plum in real life, and looks great
over black eye pencil.
Frisky: a beautiful pale lemony grass green is a great new highlighter shade on the bone, or an overall color
wash around the eyelashes.
Sassy: is a beautiful bright pumpkin orange. Use to warm up other warm eye shadows like browns and caramel
shades. Looks great washed over the lid.
In
The Pink: My favorite. A bright
warm pop of a pink. Also
can use as a blush shade too.
BOTTOM
ROW: left to right.
Show
Off: A more intense green that is so strong for fall this year. Apply over
black or brown eye pencil to update your look.
Daring: A beautiful richer version of Sassy, this orange is laced with a touch of yellow/gold shimmer.
Beautiful The perfect shade for blue eyes.
Reckless: Watch out. This blue is bright! A bit of Yellow is added for more of a
robins egg blue gone wild.
Not
So Mellow: A bright, bright, bright yellow. Can't get any brighter than this. Looks great
under bottom lashes only with tons of mascara.
The
Latest Fall Looks
from the Runway Collections. 2006
Get
ready. Makeup for fall is here and it's changing. There are new trends, new colors
and new applications. It's time for something different in makeup.
I
put together the most beautiful makeup looks that I saw coming down the Runways
for Fall 2006. From beautiful and mysterious, to colorful and dramatic. ItÕs
all here.
Look
I . Vera Wang

One
of the most beautiful looks was from Vera Wang, that was elegant, classic yet
modern.
Skin:
Matte, perfect, polished.
Eyes:
A
dark gray + copper eye was the focus. With a shimmering copper gold tone on the
lid (Jungle Love is perfect for this). Dark gray (Woodland) shadow is smudged lightly over a thinly drawn Absolute Black
eye pencil on top lashes only.
Blush:
Pink
Tush. A soft matte pink. Think baby soft.
Lips:
Matte
pink lips round out the look. Try Blush Lipstick.
Look
2. Ralph Lauren

Think
polished, soft, light. Clearly romantic.
Skin:
Matte
yet see-through skin.
Eyes:
A
burnished olive or gold is across the whole eyelid and blended up lightly to
the eyebrows. Try Hug Me, Cosmopolitan or Luna.
Blush:
A
wine blush gives a stained effect, perfect with Redwood.
Lips:
Think
light stained cherry topped lips.
Easy to get with a light application of Cheyenne, Tribal or Queen
of the Night lipstick, then pressed off to get that
light stain.
Look
3 . Comme des Garcons

By
far the most retro and dramatic look of the season.
ItÕs
red lips modernized. So beautiful.
Skin:
Matte
Eyes:
Eyebrows
are darkened and brushed straight up. A sweep of dark gray shadow is brushed
across the top lashes only in place of pencil or liner and then blended softly
upwards. Try a light touch with Spruce Gray. Add
a top of light black mascara on top lashes only.
Blush:
Cheeks
are kept clean of any color.
Lips:
Here
you can do either matte or shine. But the look is all about the dark cherry red
lip. Try Classic Red or Queen
of the Night for a more intense
look.
Look
4 . Versace

Versace
is all about sexiness. And Versace had the most sexy and dramatic look of the
season.
Skin:
Matte
Eyes:
ItÕs
all about color. With blue or green, your choice. Go dark with Twilight or Big Sky at Night. Or go more daring with Bold Effects in Reckless. Sweep color across the whole eyelid. Go more
night time with a dark gray (Silence) smudged into the top lashes and into the
crease to intensify. Daring? Use Absolute Black shadow instead of gray. Finish
with tons of black mascara.
Blush:
Contour
is in again. A warm honey shade is applied under the cheekbone or try Papyrus or Mojave.
Lips:
ItÕs
nude and glossy. And sexy. Desire
Lip Shine Wand is perfect. Want more shine? Apply a double coat with Cellophane Lip Shine Wand on top.
